The Georgia Wood Infestation Inspection Report is the official document used during real estate transactions. It is an inspection of the property in question, completed by a qualified and licensed inspector to determine the presence or previous presence of an infestation of the listed organisms and is not intended to be a structural report. It is not a warranty as to the absence of wood destroying organisms. There are five wood destroying organisms for which we inspect for, they are: Subterranean Termites, Powder Post Beetles, Wood Boring Beetles, Dry Wood Termites, and Wood Decaying Fungus (Not Molds and Mildews). If visible evidence of active or previous infestation is reported, you should assume some degree of damage is present and a diagram identifying the location of such evidence attached to your form.
